I wrote a post in 2007 about a fascinating movie concerning a woman who happened upon what she came to believe was an original Jackson Pollock painting. But it seems more likely now that it was an original Frankie Brown.
He began painting in the style of Pollock in the late 1970s. If you don’t like abstract painting, you probably won’t have much use for him. I personally think his stuff is excellent. Anyway, I wanted to give him his own page under “outsider” artists.
